ABOUT ME

I would like to describe myself as someone who is versatile and determined and someone who loves learning. I am creative open minded and easy going and I enjoy working with others. I try to use all these qualities in my professional life. I started off my career as a Mechanical Engineer in 2013 with Infosys Limited. Under Engineering services unit, I worked for multiple projects within various engineering disciplines including Automotive, valves, hydraulics and actuators. I have worked for Japanese and US based clients including KITZ valves, Ford and Jeep. In June 2017, I resigned my job to join for Graduate studies at UIC. During Summer 2018 I joined O2M technologies, a medical device R&D startup as a Mechanical engineer intern. Despite multiple intern offers, what intrigued me about O2M was their mission to help cancer survivors. I did well during my internship and they offered me continuous employment. For last one and a half years I have been working at O2M technologies, part time for some time and rest full time. The company has been successful, and I am so happy that I contributed to that success. I also worked as a Lead Mechanical engineer/mentor (Research assistant) at Rehab Robotics lab at UIC where the research is focused towards building a cost effective soft exosuit to help people with mobility disorders to be upright and walk.

So, in a nutshell that’s who I am professionally and when I am not working I would like to travel, go hiking on weekends,camping, go for long drives, biking on trails and I like working out.
