Personal project

LIFE Bike is the most interesting thing I have ever built during my undergrad days. LIFE Bike is designed for working professionals and students who commute. The concept is an electric bike that can be folded and stored inside a normal size backpack. In the current scenario where traffic blocks are an unavoidable issue in our day to day life, a concept like LIFE Bike can make a huge difference. My design was selected as one of the best mechanical design projects of the year and won several awards from various paper presentations including a grant of Rs.50000 from Center for Engineering Research and Development.

Actual design intended to used Lithium Polymer batteries to be stored inside the tubular chassis, but due to the high cost of LiPo batteries, I settled with Lead Acid batteries
